Established in 1986, 10,000 vines were close
planted in red-brown soil 500m above sea level. A commitment
has been made to grow the best grapes possible from this site,
with shoot positioning on a Scott Henry trellis, organic fertilisers
and undervine mulching.
In addition, our strong commitment to sustainability at Leland means we use low impact vineyard practices and equipment, solar power and we are water self sufficient. We have a healthy vegetable garden with fruit trees and each year we increase our native vegetation.
We hope we have chosen the most efficient distribution system in Australia Post.
